Peter Maslowski, David Graff, and Reina Pennington, series editors
This is a series of books of integrated military history, in which the military history of any time or place is written from a sense of the larger social and cultural context, and designed to be of interest and use to historians of any specialty--and also be accessible and useful to non-professionals. The series attempts to recruit, strengthen, and showcase rich works of history from any epoch or geographical region, and that see military events as much of a part of the nexus of society as are the modes of production, social organization, or political upheaval.
