Contemporary Holocaust Studies
This series focuses on contemporary issues connected to the historical study of the Holocaust, such as antisemitism, racism, political extremism, and ethno-nationalism. The series aims to make academic research findings more widely accessible, and to foster a conversation and exchange between Holocaust researchers, teachers at all levels, and the interested wider public.
Started in 2019 under the auspices of the Harris Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, the series is edited by Ari Kohen and Gerald J. Steinacher. Kohen is a professor of political science with a focus on human rights, heroic behavior, and Western political thought. Steinacher is a professor of history and specializes in the history of the Holocaust and its immediate aftermath.
