I hold a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as well as a shiny, new master’s degree in English, also from UNL. I’ve been publicity manager at UNP since 2014 but started as a student worker in 2010.
I received my BA in journalism from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and have covered crime and public interest stories for newspapers in Illinois and Nebraska. I am always looking for good podcast recommendations.
I began working at the University of Nebraska Press as a student in 1989. I graduated with a BA in English in 1994 and took a job in customer service. From there I moved into marketing as a sales assistant before taking my current role.
I work with the Press’s websites, metadata distribution, email campaigns, and ebook distribution.
