Comprehensive History of the Holocaust
The Comprehensive History of the Holocaust series is co-published with Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem. An ambitious publishing project, the series presents authoritative studies of how the Holocaust unfolded throughout Europe. Each volume is written by a scholar drawn from an international team of eminent historians, and examines how the Final Solution affected Jewish communities throughout Europe and how those communities responded. When complete, the Comprehensive History of the Holocaust will stand as a monumental intellectual achievement, as a tribute to those who perished, and as an admonishment to future generations about the dangers of racism and antisemitism. Making possible the publication of the series is a generous gift from the Ike and Roz Friedman Family Foundation of Omaha, Nebraska, to the University of Nebraska Foundation.
