Extraordinary World

Extra Sensory Perception, ghosts, UFOs, telekinesis, crypotozoology, the Bermuda Triangle, Area 51, clairvoyance, and crop circles — these and other scientifically unexplainable phenomenon play a large role in popular culture and folklore despite widespread skepticism and lack of concrete proof of their existence. Still, these fascinating phenomenon often defy explanation and thereby inspire a host of compelling and captivating stories as well as revealing sociological examinations. The Extraordinary World series offers tales of the unexplained for believers and skeptics alike while exploring the significance of the paranormal throughout western culture and the role these unproven curiosities play in contemporary society.
